It is too bad that a few bad seeds have to ruin the experience for all of the legitimate Tiffany dealers out there. We can only post 1 Tiffany piece on Ebay every other week. This is extremely frustrating since we immediately want to put up new Tiffany pieces as soon as they arrive in stock. In the end, we are stuck selling through our website and not so much on Ebay.
Thanks for the write up on this matter.

I am totally dismayed with the new rules ebay has implemented. I have had, in the last two weeks, buyers with 100% feedback not pay for the items they won. Why? Because there is no down side. Buyers can now leave feedback, good or bad, for sellers. However, sellers can either leave positive feedback or none at all. Consequently, sellers are losing money, ebay is having to reimburse sellers final value fees due to non-paying buyers, and Paypal has decided to add to a seller's pain. If a buyer claims they received something different than what they thought they were to receive, they can open a dispute, and Paypal told me yesterday that the buyer will always win in this case. So now, not only are we, the sellers, not getting paid, but if we do, Paypal in cohorts with ebay, is allowing buyers 45 days to get their money reimbursed for their purchase by lying about how it was different than stated. From there, the buyer has to return said item to seller, they get their money back from PP who has placed a hold on seller's money throughout this process, and seller opens the returned package to find a broken item, worn, etc. PP's answer to this when THAT happens is to get a police report. I am done with PP and eBay until they treat the seller with the respect we deserve. Their fees are already way too high, and now this. Stock holders beware, you will see poor profit warnings in the near future. Diane, I love your blog!
